Oak Grove to induct Dan Bueide into Grover Hall of Fame

Dan Bueide grew up in Moorhead, Minnesota and attended Oak Grove from 1978-1983. He was part of the first 8th grade class, when Oak Grove started a 7th and 8th grade middle school program in 1978. Dan sang in the Choir and participated in theater, student government and several on-campus clubs. During his time at Oak Grove, Dan was on the Student Council, served as a Class Officer and was a National Honor Society member. Dan was a three-sport athlete participating in football, basketball, and track. He received the All Conference and Most Valuable Lineman in the Conference honors as a member of the 1982 Class B 11-man State Football Championship Team. Dan qualified for the State Track Meet in the 3200-meter run three years and was the leadoff runner for the 3200-meter relay team that placed 2nd at the State Track Meet in 1983. The relay team’s time that day remains an Oak Grove school record.

After graduating from UND with a BBA degree in accounting and passed the CPA exam. Dan attended law school at UND the next year and graduated with distinction and Order of the Coif. Dan started his legal career in Milwaukee, moved to the Twin Cities and then settled in Fargo where he and his wife, Michelle began working together concentrating on commercial real estate and together opening the Bueide Law Firm. Dan and Michelle have two sons, Peter and Jacob.
